T.I.M.E. is a new MAPSEF program that will keep working to provide students with the necessary tools they need to compete in today’s fast-paced, changing world. The MAPS Education Foundation took on the challenge of raising funds in the community to pay for the Chromebooks for the 2013-2014 school year. Our schools must prepare each child for the world outside the classroom by being able to keep up inside the classroom. MAPS students who graduated this year did not have Chromebooks in school when they were in fifth grade for one very good reason, they did not exist; that is how fast technology changes our lives. We must provide our students with the technology tools that are so critical to each of their futures and success as they graduate career and college ready with 21st Century Skills.
